Educational Objectives:
- Provide evidence-based treatment protocols and approaches to critical neurologic illness including ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, brain trauma, spinal cord injury, status epilepticus, CNS infection and neurologic complications of sepsis and other critical illness.
- Provide case-based discussions of ICU nursing care and protocols for critical neurologic illness.
- Provide practical pearls for utilization of neurologic monitoring instruments that are crucial for the care of neurologic critical illness.
