This activity is intended to introduce the wide array of clinical applications of point-of-care ultrasound in the neuroscience intensive care unit and adjacent inpatient units. Each webinar will be comprised of five paired ultrasound topics that were selected based on a Neurocritical Care Society's Ultrasound Section participant survey that was performed in the spring of 2023. The five paired topics will consist of two parts separated by one month. The first session on a topic will be a novice-level introduction to the subject matter and an overview of clinical applications. The second session within a topic will be an intermediate-level case-based discussion of pathology. Participants will be engaged through polling throughout the activity to monitor engagement and facilitate discussion. Participants will be encouraged to post on the Neurocritical Care Society's Ultrasound Section Webpage Forum after the webinar and share ongoing utilization and applications of the topic.
