TBI affects millions worldwide and is a major health concern, particularly in developed countries. Survivors are susceptible to secondary injury after the primary insult. Unfortunately, pharmacologic options to limit the progression of secondary injury due to TBI have been limited.
This presentation will provide an overview on recent literature regarding beta-blockade and their utility in TBI patients.
